The latest live shows of French house producer Etienne de Crecy literally bring us to another dimension with some spectacular cuboid lighting visuals perfectly balanced with the music. Etienne de Crecy’s conceptual solo live performances are pretty impressive as you can see on the video below.
http://www.vimeo.com/693800The scenical structure has been imagined and conceived by Francois Wunschel and Pier Schneirder founders of the Parisian collective, Exyzt.
The Exyzt collective is a project platform that invites all life practices groups to put forward actions and situations that have been built up in the city. Exyzt was formed in 2003 by five graduates from the Paris La Villette School of Architecture who joined together after a first common action: the architecture of the Rab, an ephemeral community living in and around an adjustable 335m2 scaffolding structure for 5 weeks.
Today the platform brings together around 20 people: Architects, constructors, graphic designers, photographers, video artists, gardeners, cooks etc. Each project provides the opportunity for a new collective configuration and a new situation in order to build together.
The EXYZT collective has been engaged in various projects and experiments since 2003 including the Southwark Lido, an ephemeral crowd immersion bath in the Southwark neighbourhood in London for the London Festival of Architecture in summer 2008, and the Social Club interiors installation in Paris a year ago.
